Recovering the lost tradition of American boys’ adventure

Meet the Founder

Made by Dads, for Boys

Frank Theodat is an American short story writer and anthologist. He founded The Boys Book Series in hopes of inspiring a love of reading in the next generation of young men through the classic genre of American literature: Pulp fiction. Every volume is a curated bridge between old and new, bringing together stories by classic pulp writers alongside contemporary fictioneers who want to keep the tradition of boys’ literature alive.

Frank co-founded and was the first Editor-in-Chief of Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry Magazine. He now serves as Editor Emeritus, contributing monthly essays to the Ink & Grit: Masters of Pulp Fiction series.

He currently lives outside Boston, Massachusetts, with his wife and son.

About the publisher

The Boys Book Series comes from a small independent publisher in Greater Boston that makes books meant to last, an imprint of P3 Media Group LLC.

We print short fiction collections in the American boys’ adventure tradition and sell them direct and through Amazon. If you want to reach us, write to info@theboysbook.com — a person reads it.
