Who said boys don't read?

Boys love reading. They just hate being pandered to.

For decades, publishers have lowered the bar — shorter chapters, dumber jokes, watered-down heroes — only to blame young men when they turn away from books.

But as the fathers of sons we know the truth: boys love to read when they’re challenged, inspired, and entertained.

That’s why we created The Boys Book Series.

About the Series

Why The Boys Book Series exists

The gap nobody was filling

Somewhere between the dime novels of the 1880s and the paperback boom of the 1970s, American publishing had a tradition for boys — stories of action, consequence, and honor that treated a young reader like someone capable of handling a real narrative.

That tradition collapsed. The Boys Book Series is a deliberate act of recovery.

What is The Boys Book Series

Every volume is a bridge between old and new — hand-curated stories by classic pulp writers and contemporary fictioneers who want to keep the tradition of boys’ literature alive.

Designed to go in a backpack, survive a school year, and get read cover to cover.
